July 12th.2009: the start of 14 days of summerholidays together with my beloved children.

A year has gone since I last wrote on this blog. Fall, winter and spring passed and a new summer has arrived. We started our summer holidays last sunday on July 12 th. No travelling this year, I decided. We spend our holidays 'at home' and make some daytrips in the course of this fortnight. The weather forecast looks pretty good for the upcoming week, so it looks like we're going to enjoy the first part of our holidays mainly outdoors. Great! The rough plans are: a visit to the old amusement park 'Tivoli' in Copenhagen, a visit to the Medieval Center in the south of Seeland (this is the name of the island where the capital Copenhagen is situated), the Copenhagen Zoo and a birthday party on saturday at one of my friend's in town. And on sunday we are invited for dinner at my dear ex inlaws north of Copenhagen. Sarah is staying at her best friend's summer house this week.
